About QRFable

Why it exists

Most free QR generators have the same catch: the code stops working, or starts redirecting somewhere you did not choose, once a trial ends. A printed code you no longer control is worse than no code at all.

So static codes here are genuinely yours. They are generated in your browser, they contain your data directly, and nothing we do later can change or disable them — there is no server in the middle to switch off. Dynamic codes are different by design: they point at a short link we host, which is what makes the destination editable, and that service is what Pro pays for. The difference matters before you print.

Who builds it

QRFable is built and run by an independent developer, not a company with a support department. That is the honest trade: you get direct replies from the person who wrote the code, and occasionally you wait a day for them.

How it is paid for

The free plan is genuinely free and does not expire. It is funded by Pro subscriptions and by advertising shown on the free plan, which keeps unlimited static generation available to people who will never pay for it.

We do not sell scan data. What we collect and why is set out in the privacy policy, and pricing lists exactly what each plan includes.
