When to use a linkedin QR code
- Conference badges and lanyards
- Business cards and CVs
- Email signatures and slide decks
- Job adverts and recruitment stands
Before you print
Set a custom profile URL first
The default LinkedIn address has a long string of numbers on the end. Setting a custom one makes a much simpler code and looks better if anyone reads the link.
Make sure your profile is public
If your profile is set to private, people who are not logged in see almost nothing. Check what a stranger sees before you print.
Common questions
How is this different from LinkedIn's built-in QR code?
LinkedIn's own code only works inside the LinkedIn app. This is a standard QR code that any camera reads, so it works even for someone who does not have the app open.
